Recently, Acer announced that in the next couple of months we’ll see some new devices on the market, more precisely the new Switch 10 and the Switch 10 E 2-in-1 hybrid notebooks. From start, we get to know that both these tablets will run Windows 8.1 and pack a feature that allows us to easily attach a keyboard dock to them.
Switch 10 comes with a 10.29-inch Full HD display, an Intel Atom quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM memory, and 64 GB space of internal storage. This device weighs 1.31 pounds in tablet mode or 2.64 pounds when connected to a keyboard dock. Switch 10 will be available starting August for a $399 price tag.
The other model called Acer Switch 10 E will bring a 1.280 x 800 pixels resolution display, an Intel Atom quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM memory and also 64 GB internal storage. This one is a little bit heavier at 1.39 pounds used as a tablet or 2.82 pounds with the keyboard dock attached. According to Acer, the battery found on this unit will offer up to 12 hours of lifetime. Its price is set at $279.
