The product already appeared on Amazon and at the FCC, so today’s official site publication is basically a formality. The first 8 inch Windows 8 tablet from Acer will launch at $380 and this is only one of the upcoming models with a diagonal that’s smaller than 10 inches. The specs of the new model include an Intel Atom Z2760 Clover Trail processor, Windows 8 Pro, 2 GB of RAM and a 64 GB SSD.

There’s also WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, microHDMI, microUSB and microSD. The battery life of the Acer Iconia W3 should be around 8 hours and as shown in the pictures, we’ll also get an interesting keyboard dock. Said dock is quite a bit wider than the tablet. The Amazon listing from a few weeks ago mentioned a 1280 x 800 resolution, 2 MP cameras and 3500 mAh battery. We’ll see how this plays out…
