It’s been a while since I last heard Acer’s name related to a tablet launch, but here we are. They’ve just come up with the Acer Iconia Tab M10 tablet, that sports some decent midrange specs. You can find them below.
The Acer Iconia brand was sort of a big deal about a decade ago and now it’s back. The Acer Iconia Tab M10 tablet debuted in Europe and we’re dealing with a midrange device with a large IPS display, a MediaTek processor and up to 128 GB of storage. There’s also a rather big battery inside, a 6000 mAh unit. The device has a 10.1 inch screen, an IPS LCD with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a 60 Hz refresh rate.
It runs on Android 12 and the slate uses a MediaTek Kompanio 500 processor, together with 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage. There’s also a microSD card slot for extra storage, as well as a 5 megapixel camera upfront. At the back we find a 13 megapixel shooter sans flash. The tablet includes the usual array of sensors: accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyro sensor and also as an extra it has dual speakers.
We would have wanted quad or octa, but that’s also OK. The slate measures 8.6 mm in thickness and weighs 460 grams. Acer Iconia Tab M10 is priced at $149 and it’s available in gold only.
