The Acer brand has been evolving on the mobile devices market, though a bit too late, with the help of some very good devices, priced highly competitive on the market. Acer has particularly brought great additions to the Android tablet market.

One of the latest Android tablet devices to come from Acer is the Iconia B1 , a tablet that is said to be priced aggressively and to offer more than decent features.  The Iconia B1 has now been spotted in Sainsburys, UK, for no more than £99. It is expected that the tablet is also available elswhere for the same competitive price and offering one other important feature in its favor.

The Acer Iconia B1 has been launched running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean which given the tablet’s specs should offer a more than satisfactory experience. The 7-inch, 600 x 1024 pixels resolution tablet display along with the dual-core 1.2 GHz, Cortex A9 based Mediatek chip are to offer a good amount of performance, compared to other devices in the same price category. The only thing to complain about is the only 512 MB of RAM proving a disaster for multitasking. Other than that there are internal storage options of 8/16 GB and a micro SD card slot for expansion. We look forward to Acer’s future products priced the same way.
