During a press event hold today in Taiwan, Acer announced two new computers that are running Microsoft’s latest operating system, that one being Windows 10. Among them we have the 14-inch convertible notebook called Aspire R14, and the Aspire Z3 all-in-one PC.
Acer Aspire R14 comes with a 14-inch Active Matrix TFT display that offers a 1366 x 768 pixels resolution, Intel Core 6th Gen processors, WiFi 802.11 a/b technology with MIMO, USB 3.1 port with Type-C connector, two USB 3.0 ports and a HDMI connector. We get a card reader, ethernet port and up to 8 GB of RAM memory (DDR3L SDRAM type).
This product packs a 4-cell Lithium-polymer 3560 mAh battery that promises up to 7.5 hours of autonomy. The new Acer Aspire R14 weighs 1.9 km and measures 18.5 mm in thickness. As we get to know, this product will be available in Europe for €799.
Beside this device, Acer also announced the Aspire Z3 all-in-one computer that brings a 17.3-inch multi-touch display with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), an Intel Celeron or Pentium processor, up to 8 GB of RAM memory and the possibility to choose between a hard drive or a SSD.
We also have a battery that promises up to 5 hours of life, and it comes with a stylus that can be used to write, draw or in regular usage for a better precision. Acer will sell this all-in-one PC for about 599 in Europe, Middle East and Africa by the end of this year. Next, the Aspire Z3 might pop-up in North-America too.
