Even if Windows is one of those platforms on the market that can’t compete with Android or iOS in terms of the number of apps available, it seems that some users are dreaming about testing Windows apps on Android. And this thing will be soon possible through a emulator developed by the Codeweavers team.

However, this software won’t run on any device, but only on those with x86 Intel Atom processors and at least 2 GB of RAM memory. A couple of compatible slates are the following ones: Lenovo Yoga 2, Dell Venue 10 7000, but also the Nokia N1 – tablet that recently got a great review here on Tablet-News.com.

According to the team behind this project, the emulator will get a Technology Preview version in the future, without releasing a beta variant at first. For the moment, the software will arrive just on tablet, and then the availability will be extended to some phones with Intel processors too.
