Fresh after the confirmation of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite name, we have another leak about the product. This time it’s a render of the device, that feels pretty believable and can be seen below. It comes from Android Headlines and seems to include the same stylus as the Tab S6.
Following the Galaxy Tab S6 and Galaxy Tab S6 5G, Samsung is preparing now a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. It may well replace the Galaxy Tab S6e that would have been a logical launch. It’s also rather similar in design with the Tab S6 and keeps the S Pen, although we can’t see if it also keeps the special slot for it at the back side. The tablet has a cellular network icon in the status bar, which means it’s going to support 4G LTE connectivity.
It’s also said to have a WiFi only version. Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is rumored to pack 64 or 128 GB of storage and according to GeekBench it’ll run on Android 10 with One UI on top. It also relies on an Exynos 9611 processor, paired with 4 GB of RAM. There’s also a 10.5 inch Super AMOLED screen on board most likely, although Samsung may decide to skimp last minute and offer an IPS LCD. We could see a price tag of $399 here, although nothing’s for sure at this point.
Between the Tab S6 Lite and the Note 10 Lite, Samsung is really trying to crack open the segment of midrange devices with styli.
