Huawei has officially confirmed that it’s going to launch yet another tablet in August. This time the new model is dubbed Huawei MatePad Pro (2026) and seems to share some features with the MatePad Pro Max. That one was launched in China in June and it’s already sold in Europe.
Now we learn via Chinese media that the MatePad Pro 2026 will be unveiled on August 5th, at 2:30 PM local time in China. It’ll be sold in blue and pink and should feature a circular camera module at the back, similar to the one on the MatePad Pro Max. It’s said to be 4.7 mm thin and weigh 439 grams. There’s also support for stylus and a keyboard.
Insider Digital Chat Station claims that the device will feature a 12 inch OLED screen and a Kirin T93 processor. It should also have a 66W charger and support Beidou satellite messaging. Other details are scarce right now. However, we do know that there’s a MateBook Fold Ultimate Design coming to China on August 5th. I honestly expect the MatePad Pro (2026) to be a smaller and better specced MatePad Pro Max.
