Top notch Indian tablet player iBall just debuted locally a new slate called iBall Slide PenBook. It’s a 2 in 1 device with Windows 10 on board and a portable convertible format. There’s an aluminum alloy design in the mix and this model can be used as both a tablet or laptop.
There’s Windows Ink support in the mix and we’ve got Cortana too, as well as Windows Hello. A fingerprint scanner has been bundled too. The iBall Slide PenBook packs a 10.1 inch 1280 x 800 pixel IPS panel, an Intel Atom x5-Z8350 1.92 GHz chipset and 2 GB of DDR3 RAM.
It also has 32 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a 5 MP main camera, as well as a 2 MP front shooter. We’ve got a 6000 mAh battery on board and on the connectivity front there’s USB Type-C, micro HDMI and two USB 2.0 ports. The whole thing measures 2 cm in thickness with the keyboard and the tablet itself weighs 603 grams.
The price tag is $385 and on paper this sounds like a solid machine for professionals on the go.
