After the Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 10 announced this week at Computex 2017, there’s another MediaPad M3 model out there. It was just unveiled by Huawei and goes by the name of Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0. It’s pictured below and seems to be quite sexy.
Unlike the big model, that has 4 Harman/Kardon speakers, this one has only two, with the same technology. It brings an 8.4 inch Full HD screen and relies on an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, together with 3 or 4 GB of RAM. There’s also 32 GB or 64 GB of storage here, as well as a microSD card slot. We can find an 8 MP back camera here, plus a front 8 MP shooter, while the battery is a 4800 mAh unit, charged via microUSB.
A fingerprint scanner has been included upfront, within the Home button. Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 8.0 measures 7.5 mm in thickness and weighs 310, which oddly was also the weight of the bigger model. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 on top and also offers GPS and WiFi, but it has a LTE version, too. The design reminds me a lot of the MediaPad M3 from last year, meaning it’s a slab of metal with beautifully finished corners.
