We knew that Samsung was working not only on a 12 inch rival for the iPad Pro, but also on a much bigger slate, probably one meant for professionals. The device was leaked as a codename here and today we learn more details about it.

The device is based on Android supposedly and it’s known as SM-T760, or under the codename “Tahoe”. Sources talk about an 18.4 inch slate with Android 5.1 as the OS and a TFT LCD panel in the mix. The product offers a Full HD resolution and relies on an octa core 64 bit Exynos 75880 processor, clocked at 1.6 GHz. Also on board we find 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and a microSD card slot.

The battery of this monster is a 5700 mAh unit, that frankly speaking doesn’t impress very much. At the back we find an 8 megapixel camera, while the front shooter is a 2.1 MP unit. The tablet is expected to be 11.9 mm thick and 275.8 mm tall, as well as 451.8 mm wide. We don’t have any info on a release date or final name, but in the meantime, you should also know that Sammy is working on a 12 inch Windows 10 tablet.
