During GSM 2010, one could see all sorts of new devices, among which there were also tablets like the ZTE models shown below. These are 7 inch Android units, with the ZTE V9 model looking very much like Samsung Galaxy Tab, while the Z-Pad looks like an Archos 9 model.

ZTE V9 goes for $330 in Russia and it’s coming to Australia soon (December, on Optus) for $279, but with modified specs. Meanwhile, the Z-Pad does not have a price or certain launch date, but here’s the specs list for it:

  • Display: 7 inch, 800 x 480 pixel, resistive touchscreen
  • OS: Android 2.1
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth, GPS, mini USB, USB, no 3G
  • CPU: dual core, Rockchip, Mali GPU
  • Storage: none internal, SD card slot
  • Camera: 1.3MP front facing
