There’s no way to confirm or deny that the model you see below, the MSI S100 is actually the MSI slate that reached the FCC over the past days. The specs sure fit, but that model didn’t have a name, which was pretty strange.

Earlier this summer MSI showcased a 10 inch tablet with Windows 8.1 and an Intel Atom CPU at Computex 2014 and the model was called MSI S100. Now the product is back and the shots from Computex are associated with the info from the FCC and everything fits like a glove. We’re dealing with a 10.1 inch IPS screen tablet with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, 2 GB of RAM and an Intel Bay Trail T CPU.

There’s 64 GB of storage here (NAND flash), as well as a 7500 mAh battery. MSI S100 comes with an optional Bluetooth keyboard and measures 10.2 mm in thickness. It weighs 590 grams and features a mini HDMI port, WiFi and Bluetooth, two cameras (both 2 MP units) and a microUSB port. There’s no price right now, but at least we have a name for the product.
