Acer is preparing to release no less than two Android 2.2 tablets, as iPad alternatives. One model will sport a 7 inch display, while the other will feature a 10 inch one. Both units will come with Flash support and ARM chipsets and there have been rumours concerning a partnership between Acer and carriers, that would sell the devices.
3G is also on their specs list and in case you remember, Engadget managed to play with the 7 inch unit back at Computex, although Acer reps claimed that the unit available was in fact made by Foxconn. That version proved to be quite bad, so we’re hoping for quality this time. Release is scheduled for Q4 2010.
