The Vodafone Smart Tab units have been relatively popular among people who wanted to pay zero dollars for a slate on contract and get some midrange or low end features. Now a new generation of slates from the carrier is being prepared and the name is Vodafone Smart Tab III.
The device have just been leaked in the shot below, that shows the Smart Tab III 7 and Tab III 10. The third gen slates have appeared in Bluetooth tests published online and we’re dealing with 7 and 10 inch models with Android 4.2. The manufacturer here is Lenovo, according to some documents. The products are expected to support 1280 x 800 pixels resolutions on IPS panels and arrive with SIM card slots, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
The CPUs inside will be MediaTeks clocked at 1 GHz, but the core number is unknown. Storage versions are also unknown, but 8 or 16 GB are probably. I also expect 1 GB of RAM inside and a lot of bloatware, as usual. Will you buy such a model or go with a lesser known brand?
