The Razer Edge gaming tablet preorders started on March 1st and back then the company behind the device wasn’t very clear regarding the shipping time of the product to early adopters. They only said it was going to come later this month.
Razer resorted to its own Facebook page today to announce its contribution to the Post PC gaming area. The product starts off at $999 and has a very good hardware setup. You should know that the device’s keyboard dock should be coming in Q3, as previously announced. Reasons to get excited? Well, this gadget was initially a project and it already received some important awards, such as Best of CES 2013 and Best of Show a CES 2013 from CNET.
It comes with an Intel Core i5 CPU at 1.7 GHz/Turbo 2.6 GHz, Intel HD 4000 graphics/Nvidia GT 640 MB LE and a 10.1 inch IPS 1366 x 768 pixel display. There’s also Windows 8 on board and 64 GB of SATA III storage. Finally, we get WiFi and Bluetooth, plus stereo speakers and a HD webcam.
