While unveiling a 7 inch AMOLED screen for the next generation of Galaxy Tab slates, Samsung also showcased a 10.1 inch Plastic LCD, that will supposedly be used on the next version of the tablet. Too bad that mass production for the 10.1 inch LCD starts in two or three years, so it’s unlikely we’ll see this specific screen panel on the new device.

We should also mention that the display is only 1.88mm thick and uses plastic, that makes it thin and unbreakable. The resulting screen supports WSVGA (1024 x 600 pixel) resolution, 250cd/m2 brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio.
