If you want an extra reason for becoming interested in a Windows 7 tablet, the Macallan UI shown below and in action at the end of the article might just be it. This neat interface was developed by a third party company, known as UI Centric, specifically for Windows-based slates.
The UI we’re talking about is very clean, finger-friendly and capable of Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight. Also, it includes the famous page flip gesture, used for multitasking control. UI Centric claims that the software will debut in Q3 2010 on a real device, made by “a major manufacturer”. Here it is, in action:
