ROSA is a Vietnamese tablet brand that has two slates up for sale, both with Windows 8.1 on board. We’ve got the ROSA 8 inch model and the 10 inch unit, both with the same OS and affordable prices. There’s an Intel quad core Atom CPU inside, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.
Those are common specs for both models and the bigger unit has an impressive 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution, while the smaller one isn’t clearly detailed on this front. Both models will come on July 2nd, with WiFi and 3G versions. The 8 inch WiFi unit will cost $188, while the 10 inch one will go for $305. The 8 inch model won’t come with 3G and you should know that these models come with Microsoft Office preinstalled (Home & Student).
The design of the slates reminds me of the iPad Mini and the configurations also include a 5 megapixel camera at the back, a 2 megapixel front shooter, a battery that offers 5 hours of usage and a chassis that’s 7.9 mm thick. The weight is around 350 grams for the smaller model and the products are assembled in Taiwan.
