VAIO is still active, in spite of not being part of Sony anymore. They even have a new tablet out, the VAIO TL10 Android model, with a 10.4 inch screen and also a keyboard that can be attached to the device.

VAIO was spun off Sony about a decade ago and now works on its own. It still has a presence on the PC market and a few Windows laptops for example, but now it’s entering the tablet biz. They’re doing that with the VAIO TL10, a slate running on Android, that comes with a portable keyboard, turning it into a 2 in 1 computer.

VAIO TL10 packs a 10.4 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels. Inside it we find an UNISOC Huben T616 processor, plus the Mali-G57MP1 GPU. Memory-wise, there’s 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM here, 128 GB of storage and camera-wise, we get an 8 MP rear shooter, plus a 5 MP front facing unit for selfies.

This is a 4G compatible tablet with dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0. It runs on Android 13 and has other goodies, like stereo speakers, audio jack and a 7000 mAh battery with 18W charging. For now the device is available only in Brazil, priced at $363.
