Well, considering that Android has Linux at its core, this piece of news is not at all surprising: Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 runs Ubuntu. There’s proof in the video below, if you’re interested and till now we’ve seen the platform on many tablets, to be honest.
Keep in mind that the slate is not running the Linux distribution natively, but using somewhat of a virtual machine. This means that you’re not exactly getting full functionality here, nor stability, so keep away, if you’re not an experienced user. Anyway, it’s nice to see another OS being brought on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 for a change, while some wait for the first Galaxy Tab to change OS (versions) as well…
