There’s always a new rival for the iPad these days, with so many tablets getting released or confirmed as we approach the holiday season. One of the newcomers is the just announced Toshiba Folio 100, an Android 2.2 slate, with a 10.1 inch display and weighing 760 grams. Specs are available after the break:

The device will sell for EUR 430 in the WiFi/Bluetooth/16GB storage version and for EUR 540 in the 3G UMTS one. Apparently, the slate is able to play HD videos and supports TV connectivity thanks to its dock. Here’s what the Folio 100 is all about:
