Toshiba has just announced the launch of a new Windows 8 Pro tablet, called the WT310 and packing a large 11.6 inch Full HD screen. The device is pictured below and also seems to involve a stylus bundled with it.

It also looks reasonably slim, if the pics are anything to go by. Toshiba says that this product is optimized for business users and has features specifically tailored for mobile workers. The slate supports gestures like swipe, scroll and more and allows users to launch apps or open documents with a tap.

Toshiba WT310 packs a Digitizer Pen, that supports handwriting and conversion of that into document text. The tablet’s case is made of plastic, but one that’s resilient enough to protect the internals. Storage is SSD and there’s also a micro HDMI port on board and support for Intel Wireless Display technology. A full size USB 3.0, an SD card slot, HSPA+ and Bluetooth 4.0 are all on board as well.

Expect Q2 availability in the UK.
