Engadget managed to have fun with a Moorestown-based MeeGo tablet prototype during Computex 2010, but right now they’ve managed to publish a video showing the features of the pre-alpha version of the MeeGo OS for tablets. You can see that this is very much a walkthrough of the operating system, that looks very nice.

The photo application looks neat, simple and user-friendly and there’s even a task manager to switch between running apps. Also, high definition video playback is supported and there are a bunch of vertical stripes used to select the most important features of the MeeGo device: musical features, system info, photos and more.

The interface is intuitive and some say, even better than a customized Win 7.
