Samsung Galaxy Tab is slowly becoming the iPad of the tablet news, since it’s everywhere these days. Now, there’s some interesting info popping up about it: apparently, the slate will get into home automation, as shown in the video below. This demo shows the “connected home of the future”, with the Samsung tablet controlling the HVAC, TV, stove, oven, vacuum and fridge.
There’s even a grocery manager in the mix, suggesting recipes based on the food you have stored in the refrigerator. Too bad that this video doesn’t detail the concept further, focusing instead on Samsung’s product. By the way, this was captured during IFA 2010, in case you’re wondering.
