Samsung debuted the Galaxy M series for phones a while ago and now it’s ready to expand it into the tablet segment. The Samsung Galaxy Tab M62 has just leaked and it seems the start of a new and affordable lineup of devices. We have some intel on it after the break.

Samsung Galaxy Tab M62 is rumored to launch in early 2021. The Galaxy M series was already inaugurated by phones like Galaxy M51, Galaxy M31s and more. They’re usually big battery devices with midrange specs. The same could translate into the world of tablets. According to 91mobiles, Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy M52 with a compact body, so it’s probably going to end up an 8 incher. Some even say it may in fact be a larger smartphone. What’s certain is that it has leaked with the codename SM-M625F and packing 256 GB of storage.

This is an odd quantity of storage for a tablet and also for a midrange phone. The Galaxy Tab M lineup could fit right between the Galaxy Tab A and Tab S models, perhaps replacing a potential Galaxy Tab S7e or Tab S7 Lite. We expect an 8 or 9 inch device with an Exynos or Snapdragon midrange CPU, 4 GB of RAM and a Super AMOLED panel if possible. The source talks about a debut in India first, where the Galaxy M phones were targeted and launched over the past year.

With the Galaxy F series also coming up, one can’t help but wonder if they’ll also become tablets.
