AT&T just confirmed that it’s going to bring the Samsung Galaxy Tab E tablet in its portofolio from May 6th, with a very good price offer. The device will come for zero dollars down and a $10 monthly fee when added to a new or existing Mobile Share Value Plan.
This one is an 8 inch HD slate, with features that include an integrated DIRECTV experience, letting the user set a DVR while out of the house. Weighing in at 12 ounces, this little fellow packs a 5000 mAh battery, that should offer up to 13 hours of usage on 4G LTE connections, at least on paper. There’s also 16 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and Android 6.0 preinstalled.
This model measures 0.35 inches in thickness and relies on a 5 megapixel autofocus rear camera for the few shots you’re going to take, considering this is still a tablet. We have a front 2 MP camera for videocalls and inside we find a quad core CPU clocked at 1.3 GHz, as well as 1.5 GB of RAM. Samsung bundles the KNOX security solution, in order to protect sensitive data.
