The Samsung Galaxy Tab Actrugive 2 is the kind of device you’d think was launched by now, but in reality it’s not. It was leaked a bunch of times, including in an FCC certification and benchmarks, but today’s leak is bigger, involving the device’s user manual. It’s shown below and also detailed.
We get to see sketches of the newcomer, with speaker, front camera, power key, touchscreen and its physical buttons. There’s a fingerprint scanner embedded into the Home button and the overall format seems portrait oriented, as expected. The back side features a camera with a flash and the speaker is placed at the bottom. We’ve got a GPS antenna and microphone, plus audio jack.
Interestingly, the battery seems removable, something we don’t even see on Samsung phones nowadays, but we do see that on a tablet apparently. Bixby is part of the experience, or at least Bixby Home as shown below. Last I heard, this rugged device came with Android 7.1.1 and a a stylus, plus it had a LTE version. Codenamed SM-T395, the device is expected to come with an 8 inch 1280 x 800 pixel display, an octa core Exynos 7870 processor and 3 GB of RAM.
There’s also 16 GB of storage in the mix and a microSD card slot, plus an 8 MP back camera and a 5 MP front shooter. Expect a launch any minute now.
