The box of the slate has a wooden theme just like the Galaxy S4 and S4 Mini and inside it we find the charger, USB cable, manuals and the tablet. The device uses a physical Home button and 2 capacitive buttons next to it. We’ve got speakers integrated into the sides and a front and back camera. The slate measures 8 mm in thickness, weighs 510 grams and packs a 10.1 inch TFT display with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution.

It runs Android 4.2.2 with TouchWiz 5.0 and its CPU is an Intel Atom dual core Z2560 1.6 GHz unit. Other specs include 1 GB of RAM, a PowerVR SGX544MP2 GPU and a 3 MP back camera with 720p 30 FPS video capture. There’s 16/32 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and GPS on board. We’ve also got a 6800 mAh battery, that takes a loooooong time to charge. More details will be available in the full review, coming next week.
