CES 2014 is coming up in about a month and MWC 2014 around the time of February, so it’s time to start speculating about the devices we’re going to get during these two shows. This year, Samsung launched both Mini and Maxi devices, but next year they make take the Mini to a new level, by also giving phablets their miniature versions.
It appears that aside from a Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite, the company will be launching a Galaxy Note 3 Lite at MWC 2014. The folks of SamMobile have it on good authority that the newcomer will pack a screen between 5.49 inches and 5.7 inches, since these are the panels that Sammy has been testing recently.
The Lite version will adopt an LCD, not a Super AMOLED this time. The camera will also drop down to an 8 megapixel sensor, while the quantity of RAM will be limited to 2 GB or even less. I expect to see this device in Barcelona, at MWC, when we descend on that floor in February.
