Although it was rumored under the name Fonblet for a while, the Galaxy Mega has now been chosen as the name of the new Samsung devices with huge diagonals. These are not Galaxy Note models, but something entirely different and one of them is the just leaked Galaxy Mega 5.8.
Sadly we have no picture to associated to that device, but we do have some specs, confirmed by insiders for the folks of SamMobile. Galaxy Mega 5.8 comes with the codename GT-I9152 and it will be a high end DUOS smartphone, that packs a 5.8 inch qHD display of the TFT kind. It will arrive with an 8 megapixel camera at the back and a 2 megapixel front shooter.
Inside the phablet there will be a dual core 1.4 GHz processor, with 1.5 GB of RAM. Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and AGPS are all on board, as well as a 2600 mAh battery. It will all be packed inside a handset that measures 9.7 mm in thickness. Galaxy Mega 5.8 runs on Android 4.1.2 or Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and has the Nature UX from Samsung on top.
