Got a Nintendo Switch? Annoyed by the fact you keep losing your Joy-Cons? Well, the latest software update of the console lets you fix that, by allowing you to find the accessories more easily. Let’s find out how.

I have to say that this is actually Nintendo’s biggest Switch software update yet, version 3.0 of the software. 3DS and Wii U friends will now be shown as friend suggestions on the user page, which is one of the best things about it. The update also brings a function that notifies you once a friend comes online and another one that lets you adjust the maximum headphone volume in settings.

Bluetooth headphones are still not supported and there’s no YouTube or Netflix… or cloud save for that matter. As far as the whole “lost controller” thing goes, the new software makes the Joy-Cons vibrate in order for you to find them more easily. Version 3.0.0 also brings the option to plug in a Pro controller and use it as a wired alternative to the Joy-Cons.

There are also new Splatoon 2 characters for user icons, the option to change display colors to Invert Colors or Grayscale and various bug fixes and patches. One of them is the prevention of unintended HDMI Input change with some TVs when the console is docked in Sleep mode.
