There’s a new Samsung tablet in the making it seems, a mysterious model, that just appeared in a fresh set of benchmarks. The newcomer seems to sport a Snapdragon CPU, which is not something we see every day from Sammy.
Codenamed Samsung SM-T587P, the device could be part of the Galaxy Tab E Series and it popped up on GeekBench. We realized it’s part of the Tab E series, because of the codename mentioned before. All we know so far is that it’ll have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, so it’s going to be a low midrange affair. No idea what the RAM quantity will end up being, but the predecessors came with 1.5 GB of RAM, so expect that to be upgraded.
2 GB of RAM may be available, while the OS is probably Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The resolution will probably be HD and we may also get a 2 or 5 MP back camera. We have no clue if this model will be region specific, or make it to the States, but we’ll keep you posted once more is leaked. I wouldn’t be surprised if Office apps came preinstalled.
