Microsoft is said to be working on a new tool, that will make the Windows 10 installation much easier to perform. This has been officially confirmed by Jason, the Program Manager on the Windows Insider Engineering team from Microsoft.

This tool will offer a faster and easier way to do a clean install of Windows 10. The tool is in testing phase right now and it should reach Windows Insiders soon enough. That new tool will probably make its way to the new Windows 10 Insider Build and then possibly to Anniversary Update this summer or one of the future releases.

Some people have been reporting failed boots, failed formats, lost partitions and usually a very slow process. Resetting the PC and doing the update was also done pretty slowly. Some talk about an USB tool of sorts. There’s also the problem of downloading a full install image every time for the Surface devices and PCs for example, but those are reinstall problems.
