It seems that every few weeks HP is launching new premium detachables and now it’s turn for the HP Elite x2 1013 G3 to pop up. This device is a detachable with a 13 inch screen, that fits within the body of a 12.3 incher.

The device uses a styling similar to the Microsoft Surface one, so it’s certainly a premium machine. The product comes with 4G LTE, it’s priced at $1499 and it’ll be available from June. HP Elite x2 1013 G3 comes with an aluminum body, a kickstand and a magnetically attached keyboard.

The pen will be sold as an optional accessory and it’s improved compared to the predecessor. It comes with tilt detection, double the pressure sensitivity and also a proximity sensor. The pen is rechargeable via USB Type-C, giving it a week of usage with a 30 minute juice up. The 13 inch IPS display has Gorilla Glass 4 protection and offers a 3000 x 2000 pixel resolution.

Available with Windows Home or Windows 10 Pro, the product will be provided with storage between 128 GB and 1 TB and up to 16 GB of RAM. There’s also a Core i3, Core i5 or Core i7 CPU, clocked at around 1.9 GHz (base) and 4.2 GHz with Turbo boost. A Category 9 LTE chip is also here, plus a battery life which offers up to 10 hours and a half. Multimedia hasn’t been neglected, which means there’s a 3 microphone array here, as well as B&O stereo speakers.

An 8 MP back camera and 5 MP front cam are here too, complete with IR camera for Windows Hello. The keyboard is backlit and we expect more accessories to pop up for the device.
