The Dell XPS 12 2 in 1 tablet is expected to come in October, with a new wave of Windows 10 tablets, but today we’re witnessing its leak, complete with a partial specs list. Previously, we knew the Dell XPS 12 as a device with rotatable display, but now it brings a keyboard dock and detachable slate part.
This model offers a 12 inch diagonal and an impressive 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution, with a technology called “infinity edge display”. Basically, we’re getting very narrow bezels and a strong frame here. Dell brings an Active Stylus in the mix as well and the screen mentioned before provides around 400 nits of brightness. At the back there’s an 8 megapixel camera, plus upfront a 5 MP shooter.
USB Type C ports are available, plus a Thunderbolt and the Dell XPS 12 will have a keyboard dock, attached magnetically to the slate. Several accessories will be available for this model, like the thin Dell Premier Folio Cover with magnetic connection, USB Type C adapters, Dell Docks and more. We don’t have any price for this 2 in 1 newcomer.
