Dell has a new 10 inch slate with Windows coming and this time it’s a 2 in 1 hybrid device. The Dell Venue 10 Pro 5055 Series is the model we’re talking about here and it packs a detachable keyboard, Windows and an Intel Atom CPU.

The chipset is an Intel Atom Bay Trail one and I should mention that the tablet hasn’t been announced yet, but the documents present on Dell’s website and those from the Bluetooth SIG page show us the big picture of the device. The product ships with Windows 8.1, 2 GB of RAM and the Intel Atom Z3735F quad core CPU, as well as WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and LTE support.

There’s HSPA+ connectivity and Dell will offer two versions of the device: one with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and one with 1920 x 1200 pixels. They also differentiate through 32 or 64 GB of storage. Dell Venue 10 Pro packs an active digitizer and support for an optional digital pen, that lets the user write or draw straight on the screen.

The stylus uses an AAAA battery and comes with replaceable tips. We should also mention the presence of a micro HDMI port and a 32 Whr battery.
