Dell recently introduced a new sort of tablet, a 70 inch touchscreen model, dubbed C7017T, that has lots of ports and support for 10 finger multitouch. It’s ideal for schools and conference rooms and totally replaces a whiteboard.

This model is a 1080p piece of gadgetry and it offers support for two pens in collaborative sessions. It’s certainly no Surface Hub, with its 84 inch goodness and high end specs, but it’s perfect for the education segment. Priced at $5000, the product brings VGA connectivity, two HDMI 1.4 ports without MHL and one with MHL.

There’s also DP, audio in and out, 4 USB 3.0 ports and one fast charge port. The 16:9 panel offers a 6 ms response time, 176 degree view angle and relies on LED backlight with light bar system. It’s mounted on a VESA mounting support with a 400 mm x 400 mm setup. I should also mention it weighs 55.5 kg.
