Last week, the Chinese producer Chuwi announced that their new notebook device called LapBook 12.3 will hit the market at the end of this month. We had some specs at the time and now we get to know that its release date is approaching. Also, this new laptop will be put on display at the Global Sources Mobile Electronics show along side other products from Chuwi, like the Hi13 tablet, Surbook, Surbook Mini and also HiBox Pro.

In terms of the hardware specs, this notebook called Chuwi LapBook 12.3 brings a 12.3-inch IPS screen (2736 x 1824 pixels), a quad-core Intel Apollo Lake N3450 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, 6 GB of RAM memory and 64 GB space of internal storage. A microSD card slot will be available here and you’ll be able to upgrade the M2 SSD up to 256 GB.

Chuwi LapBook runs Windows 10 operating system and inside its aluminum case we have a 36.48Wh lithium-polymer battery. We also get a 2-megapixel webcam, 1x USB 3.0 port, 1x USB 2.0 port, a miniHDMI port and Dual-band Wi-Fi 2.4G/5G. This notebook weighs 1.442 grams and measures 16.7 mm in thickness.
