Last time we’ve showed you a preview of the Chuwi Hi8 tablet, a dual-boot device that arrived with Windows 8.1 and Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating systems. Now, after Microsoft announced the Windows 10 commercial availability, Chuwi decided to start sell the tablet with this new OS from start.
The tablet keeps the same exact specs just like the Windows 8.1 variant. Thereby, we get a 8-inch Full HD display with a 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, a quad-core processor from Intel (Z3736F) that is clocked at 2.16 GHz, an Intel HD Graphics card and 2 GB of RAM memory that should be enough for our daily tasks runned on this device.
Next we have 32 GB space of internal storage, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and a microSD card slot that let us expand the total memory up to 96 GB. Chuwi Hi8 with Windows 10 uses a microUSB v2.0 port, a 3.5 mm audio jack and packs a pretty loud speaker on the back.
There’s a 2-megapixel rear camera to take pictures when needed, and also a 0.3-megapixel VGA sensor for video-calling capabilities of the tablet. In order to keep the things working for up to a day in a moderate usage time, Chuwi brought a 4.000 mAh battery unit on this tablet. Apparently, a full charge allows us up to 5 hours of video playing time.
