The Kids Center application is at the core of the experience and this is a lightweight product, thanks to its 270 grams. We get a 7 inch IPS display here, with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and a MediaTek MT8163 processor (quad core), clocked at up to 1.3 GHz. 8 or 16 GB of storage should also be included, plus a microSD card slot with support for up to 128 GB of extra storage.

The camera has been downgraded from the last Iconia One 7, from 5 MP to 2 MP and the front shooter stands at 0.3 MP. Acer also claims that the newcomer brings a battery life of up to 6 hours on a single charge. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, but with parental controls, an UI redesigned for the kids and a lot of tools for filtering content.

The product debuts in June in UK.
