TCL already debuted a very affordable Alcatel tablet at CES 2021, a device that was priced at just $60 or so. Now it has debuted a new lineup of tablets for children under the Alcatel TKEE brand in India. The new affordable tablets are Alcatel TKEE Max, Mid and Mini.

Alcatel TKEE Max is the best specced and also brings the biggest scree, a 10 inch 1280 x 800 pixel panel, while inside we find the MediaTek MT8167B processor (quad core), coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage.

There’s also a microSD card slot and the device runs on Android 10 with a special KIDOMI user interface on top. We also get WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB-C connectivity and 2 MP cameras, front and back. To those we add a decent 4080 mAh battery.

The product is priced at $119.

Alcatel TKEE Mid has a smaller 8 inch screen with a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, a 2 GHz MediaTek MT8766B quad core processor, plus Android 10 with the KIDOMI UI on top. We also get 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, a microSD card slot and a nano SIM card slot with 4G LTE support. There’s WiFi dual band, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C, 5 MP cameras this time (front and back) and a 4080 mAh battery.

The price is $137.

Alcatel TKEE Mini is almost a smartphone, with a 6.95 inch screen with a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, 1.3 GHz processor (MediaTek MT8167D quad core CPU), plus the Android Go software with Kidomi UI on top. We also get 1.5 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, single SIM support with 4G LTE, as well as dual band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0. Then there’s GPS, USB-C, 5 MP cameras and the same 4080 mAh battery. No price yet, but I expect it to be less than $100.
