It has been long rumored that Acer is going to release new highly attractive products for the tablet market and now the manufacturer has finally decided to launch an official announcement. The Acer Iconia A1 and B1 both pack more that adequate configurations and come in WiFi and 3G variants.
The newly announced Acer Iconia A1 will be powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz architecture and it comes with a 7.9-inch, 1024×768 pixels resolution display in a 4:3 aspect ratio. It comes with 8 or 16 GB internal memory, a microSD card slot and Wireless n connectivity features. The tablet weighs only 410 grams, comes with micro USB, micro HDMI, a 5 MP rear camera and VGA front image sensor for video chat. The Wifi (A1-801) model will sell for about $ 234 while the WiFi + 3G variant will cost about $ 326.
As far as the Acer Iconia B1 goes, here we have a more familiar model that has already been offered on sale in certain parts of the world. The 7-inch tablet offers a nice design, comes in dual-core or quad-core configurations and with 1 GB of RAM. The device comes with Android Jelly Bean, 8 or 16 GB of internal memory, microSD card slot and a front-facing camera. The WiFi (B1-710) model is going to sell for about $ 170, while the WiFi + 3G variant (B1-711) comes with a price tag of $ 202.
