POCO is back with an affordable tablet, known for now as the POCO C Pad. The device has been listed on FCC ahead of its global launch. Sadly all we have for now is the e-label of the product and some info remains mysterious.

It could be just a rebrand for a Redmi tablet, like it happened before. The device is listed in Pantone finishes, like Cool Gray and Red. According to insiders, this slate is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Pad 2 9.7, which Xiaomi launched recently. This means we’re getting a 9.7 inch LCD display with a 2K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, as well as as lim metal body.

It weighs 401 grams and inside we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 4G processor, as well as up to 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The good news? It has expansion via microSD. Otherwise, we get some typical stuff, like an 8 megapixel rear camera, a 5 MP front camera, dual speakers and an audio jack. We also get optional 4G connectivity and a decent 7600 mAh battery, which should offer a day of mixed usage.

It runs on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, with AI tool integration. In Malaysia the product is priced at around $140.
