Honor has officially introduced the Honor Pad X10 in China, expanding its tablet lineup with a device meant for students and everyday productivity. Sitting below the previously announced Pro model, the Pad X10 blends a familiar spec sheet with some extras for students.

At the center of the experience is an 11-inch LCD display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, a combination that feels well-balanced for this segment. The panel reaches up to 500 nits brightness and offers an 84% screen-to-body ratio, making it suitable for both indoor use and occasional outdoor viewing. Honor also integrates TÜV Rheinland-certified eye-care features, including low blue light and flicker-free modes, alongside eBook and natural light settings designed to reduce eye strain during long sessions.

Battery life is one of the stronger selling points. The 10,100mAh unit promises up to 22 hours of video playback or 123 hours of music, with standby stretching to an impressive 97 days. Charging, however, is limited to 15W, which feels conservative compared to current fast-charging trends.

Performance is handled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680, a rather modest chipset already familiar in mid-range tablets and smartphones. It uses an octa-core setup with Cortex-A73 and Cortex-A53 cores, paired with an Adreno 610 GPU. In practical terms, this configuration targets smooth daily usage—browsing, video playback, document editing—rather than heavy gaming. Storage can be expanded up to 2TB, which is a notable advantage for users with large media libraries or offline content needs.

On the software side, the tablet runs Android 16 with MagicOS on top, bringing Honor’s ecosystem features into play. A key highlight here is the dedicated Learning Space, which introduces distraction-free modes, parental controls, and curated educational tools—clearly signaling the device’s student-oriented positioning.

The hardware package is rounded out by a quad-speaker setup, dual 5MP cameras, and a slim metal body measuring 7.25mm and weighing 499 grams. Durability is also emphasized, with SGS five-star certification for drop and pressure resistance.

Price and availability

The Honor Pad X10 is available in Sky Blue and Starry Gray. Pricing starts at 1,299 yuan (around $194) for the 6GB + 128GB model, going up to 1,799 yuan (around $269) for the 8GB + 256GB variant, positioning it as a competitive option in the affordable tablet space.
