The past month brought us the launch of two Samsung tablets, the Tab S7/Tab S7+ plus the Galaxy Tab A7 2020. Now there’s a new rugged tablet incoming as well, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, which was just leaked and it’s shown in a hands on shot below.

In general the Tab Active models have a rugged case, physical buttons and large batteries. We see here a large case and big bezels, an earpiece or speaker at the top, plus 3 buttons at the bottom, or so it appears. The upcoming device is rumored to pack an Exynos 9810 processor, the one found on the Galaxy S9. A GeekBench listing shows us that the Tab Active 3 comes with 4 GB of RAM, but the screen is yet to be revealed and leaked. More images are found on the original source, MySmartPrice.

The images also reveal a rather small battery, a 5050 mAh unit (rated as a 4900 mAh unit). The device is said to run Android 10 out of the box and that’s pretty much all we know about it. The product also passed the Bluetooth SIG certification recently, meaning that the launch is imminent. The Bluetooth SIG certification shows model numbers like SM-T570, SM-T577, SM-T577_DS, SM-T575 and SM-T575N. It means we’re going to get a WiFi only version and a dual SIM version as well.

By the way, the 3 keys at the bottom are most likely capacitive ones. Expect military certifications, IP68, shock resistance, temperature change resistance and probably use with a wet hand or glove. I suppose the screen is extra bright and this looks like a smaller tablet, something like 8 or 9 inches, rather than 11 inches.
