These days Lenovo announced a couple of new gaming notebooks, new IdeaPad devices and also some 2 in 1 products. We have some great ‘back to school’ devices and some gaming rigs, all with different price tags. These new notebooks will go on sale starting this month, so let’s see what we have on the list!
Legion Y920
Among the novelties we have the Legion Y920 gaming laptop, the most powerful one from Lenovo’s portfolio. Arrives with a GTX 1070 GPU, with an Intel Core i7 7th Gen processor and with a 17,3 inch FHD display. 16 GB DDR4 RAM is on board, and we get a mechanical keyboard with RGB illumination and effects.
You’ll get a 512 GS SSD or 1 TB HDD, two JBL speakers and a 3W JBL subwoofer, and the following connectivity options: 4x USB 3.1 ports, 1x Thunderbolt 3 Type-C port, an Ethernet port, 1x HDMI and one Display Port. This notebook arrives in June for a $2700 price tag!
Lenovo IdeaPad 320
Next one on the list is the IdeaPad 320, notebook that comes in two different sizes: one with a 14 inch screen and another one with a 15.6 inch screen, both with Full HD resolution. The GeForce 940 MX GPU is found here and you’ll be able to get up to a Core i7 7th Gen processor inside.
This notebook also packs 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 256 GB SSD or 512 SSD on the 15.6 inch variant. Harman speakers with Dolby technology are on board and we’re getting USB 3.1 Type-C and Type-A ports, USB 2.0 and HDMI. The 14 inch variant will cost $740, while the bigger one will be priced at $750.
Lenovo IdeaPad 320
Right here we have a clamshell notebook that arrives in 15.6 or 17.3 inch variants with configurations that include up to an Intel Core i7 CPU, 16 GB RAM and 2 TB storage. Interesting to see here is an optical drive used for reading and writing DVDs. The smaller model offers a 1366 x 768 pixels resolution, while the bigger one brings a 1600 x 900 pixels resolution. Dolby Audio is present here as well and the starting price is $440.
Lenovo IdeaPad 720S
This model offers a 14-inch screen with Full HD resolution, up to an Intel Core i7 processor and up to 16 GB RAM. Its thickness stops at 16 mm, and the notebook brings up to 512 GB storage and GeForce 940MX graphics. We have Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, HDMI port, an illuminated keyboard and a fingerprint scanner. The starting price is $970!
Lenovo Flex 5
Finally, there is the Lenovo Flex 5 notebook that brings a 360 degrees rotating panel, offering 4 using modes like laptop, tent, stand and tablet. Two variants are available (14 and 15.6 inches) with Full HD or 4K resolutions and we’re getting Active Pen support.
You can get up to an Intel Core i7 processor, a GeForce 940MX GPU, up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB SSD or 1 TB HDD. The 14 inch variant is priced at $720, while the bigger one costs $830.
