After some speculation, the POCO Pad C1 tablet has finally come to life, as a budget device with 4G connectivity. The machine packs a 2K display and a 7600 mAh battery and uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s 4G processor.
Available in Blue and Grey, the product has appeared on Xiaomi’s website. Design-wise, we get a slim metal body, that measures 7.4 mm in thickness and weighs around 406 grams. The slate also sports a 9.7 inch IPS display with a 2K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi is also promising up to 500 nits of brightness and 600 nits of outdoor brightness. There’s also TUV Rheinland certification for low blue light and flicker reduction.

Performance-wise, we get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chip, as well as 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. There’s microSD for storage expansion of up to 2 TB. It’s a basic tablet, with HyperOS 3.0 on board and perfectly capable of everyday tasks, like reading PDFs, browsing or streaming videos. There’s even AI in the mix, like Circle to Search and Gemini.

Finally, we also get a 3.5 mm audio jack, dual speakers and a 7600 mAh battery, that supports 18W charging. Xiaomi promises up to 15 hours of video playback and 1.7 days of regular use. Camera-wise, we get an 8 MP rear sensor and also a 5 MP front shooter. Reginal pricing is not fully detailed, but the amount should be below $300.
