Yesterday brought us a leak regarding the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2 tablet, said to pack an Intel U series processor. Well, today we learn that said CPU may well be the Intel Core i5 and more details are mentioned below.
After being certified by the FCC, the product is now said to come with Windows 10 and a 12 inch screen with the same Quad HD resolution and the same Super AMOLED panel of the predecessor. Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2 is expected to come to MWC 2017, also offering 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of SSD storage and a 5070 mAh battery. The processor is supposed to be an Intel Core i5-7200U Kaby Lake unit, that may even need a fan for cooling duties.
It remains to be seen if various configs will be available or not, because we may also see a Core M fanless version and maybe models with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of SSD storage. WiFi and LTE versions are expected, as well as Intel HD Graphics, 13 MP and 5 MP cameras, S Pen support and keyboard compatibility. USB Type C ports, Bluetooth 4.0 and a microSD card slot are all here.
