Acer’s Swift Blade 14 is built for people who want a full Windows laptop without the usual weight penalty. Announced at IFA 2026, the 14-inch notebook weighs 799g (about 1.76 pounds) and measures roughly 12.9mm thick, using a chassis made from magnesium-aluminum alloy and carbon fiber. OLED-equipped versions are listed at roughly 14mm thick, depending on configuration.

That makes the Blade 14 substantially lighter than Acer’s Swift 14 AI, which weighs a little over 1.2kg. Rather than chasing high-end discrete graphics, the new model pairs integrated graphics with Intel Wildcat Lake chips ranging from the Core 3 304 to the Core 7 350. All configurations have 12GB of soldered LPDDR5-6400 memory, while PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage goes up to 1TB.

The 14-inch, 16:10 display comes in three versions. The entry option is a 1,920 x 1,200 IPS panel at 60Hz and 300 nits. Acer also offers a 1,920 x 1,200 OLED display at 60Hz and 300 nits, while the top configuration moves to a 2,880 x 1,800 OLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, 400-nit brightness, and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. The latter should be the most compelling option for users who prioritize smoother scrolling and more vibrant media viewing in a compact laptop.

Despite its thin, lightweight design, the Swift Blade 14 includes three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports and a 3.5mm audio jack. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, and the built-in webcam supports Full HD video. Acer rates the battery at 50Wh; the company has not provided battery-life estimates.

The laptop runs Windows 11 Home and will be offered in Marshmallow Blue and Marshmallow White. Acer expects the Swift Blade 14 to reach Europe in December 2026, but has not announced pricing or availability for the United States. Its unusually low weight and higher-end OLED option make it a notable prospect for travelers and students, though U.S. launch plans, pricing, and real-world battery performance remain unknown.
